Queens Square footpaths and kerbing installed

26 September 2025

Works are progressing well at Queens Square, Moonta, with significant milestones already achieved. The installation of new footpaths has been completed, providing improved pedestrian access and enhancing the overall usability of the square. Kerbing has been installed to clearly define road and garden bed boundaries while improving drainage and the overall appearance of the area. Access ramps have also been constructed, ensuring the square is compliant with accessibility standards and easy to navigate for all users, including those with prams, wheelchairs, and mobility devices. With these foundational elements now in place, the project is ready to move into its next phase, which will focus on landscaping, surface finishes, bitumin works, and other upgrades to complete the revitalisation of the space.
