Stage 2 of the project, covering works between Rossiters Road and Harrys Point Road, will commence soon following the awarding of the tender to the Nova Group. This stage will deliver key infrastructure improvements designed to enhance the safety, accessibility, and overall usability of the shared path corridor.

As part of the construction, two boundary retaining walls — a Gabion Wall and a Sleeper Retaining Wall — will be installed. These structures will provide essential support to the shared path, helping to stabilise the roadside embankment and improve long-term durability.

To ensure the safety of workers and the public, sections of the road will need to be closed at certain times during construction. Specific road closure dates and times will be confirmed and communicated in advance to minimise disruption. Detours and clear signage will be in place to help manage traffic flow and maintain access where possible.
