Consultation Session Phase One: Business and Key Industry Stakeholder - Roundtable Sessions

In late August, four roundtable sessions were held with local Business and Key Industry Stakeholders, with 35 representatives from industries including but not limited to: childcare, education, aged-care, chambers of commerce, progress associations, builders & tradesmen, ag industry, and real estate. Council contacted approximately 400 business representatives from the Copper Coast using it’s online business directory, seeking expressions of interest and is pleased at the level of interest in participation.

These sessions, which will help steer the strategy’s early development, provided valuable feedback and insights from a diverse cross-section of local business and industry representatives. Participants also highlighted the importance of employment growth, attracting and retaining skilled workers to support local industry and meet the growing demand for health, education, and community services.

Consultation Session Phase Two: Broader Community – Draft Growth Strategy Presentation

Phase two of consultation is open to the entire community - and we want to hear from you! Read the Draft Growth Strategy, attend a ‘drop-in’ session facilitated by our consultants to answer your questions, and then submit your feedback either online or hard-copy available at the Kadina Council Office.

2) Attend a Community Consultation session

All members of the community are invited to attend a consultation session. Whether you're from a community group, a service provider, a resident/ratepayer or simply love the Copper coast and care about the future, your feedback is crucial. Our consultants will be on hand to answer your questions. Sessions will be held:

Thursday 19^th February

Session One: 3pm-5pm at Kadina Town Hall

Session Two: 6pm-8pm at Wallaroo Town Hall

Wednesday 25^th February

Session Three: 12pm-2pm at Moonta Town Hall

Session Four: 6pm-8pm at Kadina Town Hall
