The Project

The project involves a comprehensive upgrade of infrastructure along Brittain Road, Kadina, aimed at improving drainage and reducing flooding impacts for local residents. Key components include the design and installation of new stormwater utilities to manage runoff more efficiently and prevent water pooling during heavy rain events. The road will be sealed to provide a smoother, safer driving surface and to help protect the new drainage works. Kerbing will be installed to clearly define the roadway, guide stormwater flow, and improve overall streetscape presentation. In addition, a swale drain will be constructed to capture and direct excess water away from properties, significantly mitigating localised flooding issues and enhancing the long-term resilience of the area.
