The Pamir Court Garden Bed was created as part of recent on-street parking upgrades, complimenting the replacement of the Wallaroo Holiday Park fence, which had weathered over time. These works provided an opportunity to transform a previously underused area into an attractive coastal landscape that improves the look and feel of the street.

Covering approximately 255m², the new garden bed creates a stronger sense of arrival and smoother movement for people travelling through Pamir Court on foot or by vehicle. The space features a hardy, low-maintenance coastal planting palette, including native trees, shrubs, grasses and groundcovers selected to suit local conditions and provide year-round structure, enhanced biodiversity, and visual interest.

The project also includes a concrete sleeper retaining wall alongside the footpath, and a rock swale to help protect the new fencing. Key signage, including the Wallaroo Holiday Park and North Beach Kitchen signs, has been relocated and refreshed to improve visibility and presentation, while existing street lighting has been retained to maintain consistent lighting along the street and path.

The Upgrade provides a more welcoming and resilient coastal entry for residents and visitors alike in one of the Copper Coast's key tourism precincts.
